Sparrows in Central Park 2016


These New Years sparrows are in Central Park, fluffed up for the winter. They congregate on the south side of the reservoir. The haiku is by Issa, translated by David G. Lanoue, from his website HERE

  2. Thank you Caroline- It was during the warm winter weather, in Central Park, they were under a forsythia bush in full bloom by the reservoir.
