If you didn't get on a list for delivery when the stay-at-home rules started, the only way to get your groceries is to go out to the store. NYC stores in my neighborhood have been fantastic at keeping clean, and making sure people don't get to close. There have been no shortages, either. The first grocery store I ever went to was the Acme in Narberth PA. The last store I went to was Eataly, this morning. The best was the Campo Di Fiori, an outdoor market in Rome, and the worst a gas station/grocery store in Arizona in 1980.
What was your first, last, best, worst grocery store? Let me know in the comments.
